As the beans and clusters are put into the machine, the clusters are taken upward by a hook. Here the beans are carefully separated from the clusters. When the beans fall down the tips of the beans fall through the outer plates of the drum and are cut in preparation of the Bean snipper.

Beim Einfüllen der Bohnen und Trauben in die Maschine werden die Trauben von einem Haken nach oben gezogen. Dort werden die Bohnen sorgfältig von den Trauben getrennt. Beim Herabfallen fallen die Bohnenspitzen durch die äußeren Platten der Trommel und werden für den Bohnenschneider vorbereitet.
